Laus Lauesen was best known for tourist and advertising posters. He trained as a draughtsman, and from 1949 to 1956 he was affiliated with Politiken, designing advertising posters and illustrating the books of songs from its publishing house. He also produced many front-page drawings. Laus Lauesen's style is lively and colourful. The general expression is monumental, as can be seen especially in the Sclerosis poster. The artist suffered from the disease himself.
Unfortunately, it has not been possible to get a picture of the poster artist.
