Aage Lundvald possessed more than one kind of artistic talent. He produced strip cartoons and illustrations, composed music, and designed posters. He produced his first film poster, Livet paa Hegnsgaard, (Life at Hegnsgaard) in 1937, and from then on drew a wealth of film posters for home and abroad. His posters are dominated by photos or drawings of the performing actors, often with a hint of caricature or humour, which is highly characteristic of his style.
